The wait for the much awaited tablet PC, Toshiba Thrive Tablet PC, has come to an end as it has made its entrance in the tablet PC market.
The 10-inch tablet PC has come with three different models- 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB. These three models are available for pre-order at sites like Amazon where it will be sold for $429.99, $479.99 and $579.99. It is obviously a competitive price rate to compete with Apple’s iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab.
Though the device is yet to reach at the hand of the user, it is heard that its feature will make it apart from other tablet PCs.
Toshiba Thrive Tablet PC has a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and 16 million colors. It ensures better picture and video quality. It also has an Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core 1 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM.
It will come with dual camera- 5mp in the rear and 2mp in the front side. With these cameras, one can record video, take photo and do video conferencing.
It will be run on Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS. Those who have not yet bought any tablet PC can buy it.
