Gauhar Khan is a popular VJ, item girl, model and film actress. She is the sister of another popular model and TV actress Nigar Z Khan.
Born in Pune, Gauhar Khan attended Mount Carmel Convent High School Lullanagar, Pune.
Gauhar Khan started her carrier as a model. She did a few TV commercials including Bajaj Auto, Ford Ikon and Tanishq Jewellery. She also worked as a ramp model for the famous Indian fashion designer, Manish Malhotra.
In 2002, Gauhar Khan participated in the Femina Miss India beauty pageant and came fourth.
Gauhar Khan also acted in the first Bollywood musical, Zangoora: The Gypsy Prince which took place at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon.
Gauhar Khan also caught audience’s attention with his sizzling item performance in different movies. She did item number in movies like Aan: Men At Work. She also acted in Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year.
She will also don an important role in Abhinay Deo directed Game that is scheduled to released in 2011. The movie also stars Sarah Jane Dias, Abhishek Bachchan and Shahana Goswami.
