Anaganaga O Dheerudu review: First Telugu film for Shruti Haasan

Starring Siddharth and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, the most anticipated Indian Telugu film, Anaganaga O Dheerudu, has made its release world wide on 14th January 2011. Directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, it is a fantasy flick.

The English meaning of Anaganaga O Dheerudu is Once Upon a Warrior. Director Prakash Kovelamudi is now excited about the film. Anaganaga O Dheerudu is going to be his second directorial film after Bommalata.

For the first time, Hollywood production house, Walt Disney Pictures, has co-produced any South Indian fantasy movie with legendary directory K. Raghavendra Rao at a budget of Indian Rupee ₹27 crore. Many special effects have been used in this film and it is expected that audience may have never seen this type of visual effect in any Telugu film.

Even movie lovers should feel much interest to see the movie when they hear the name of Walt Disney Pictures. No doubt, this Hollywood movie maker company should be able to add some extra spice in this film.

Shruti Haasan, the daughter of Kamal Haasan, is very much excited about the film. It is going to be her first Telugu film in his film career.

Siddharth played the role of a blind swordsman named Yodha while Shruti Haasan played the role Priya, a gypsy fortune teller. Harshita played the role of a young girl. It is perhaps that Lakshmi Manchu played the most challenging role in this film. She made her debut in a negative role.

Review:-

Anaganaga O Dheerudu tells the story of a nine year old girl who has special healing power. She wants to save Sangarashtra from the oppression of an evil queen. Evil queen, Irendri, lives on the blood of Priya. The responsibility of protecting the little girl has fallen in the shoulder of blind swordsman, Yodha.

It also tells the story of how Yodha fell in love with Priya and how he is blinded by Irendri's soldier. To know how the little girl saved Sangarashtra from the oppression of an evil queen and the destiny of Priya and Yodha, you should watch the film on screen.
