Pankaj Bhadouria won the MasterChef India 2010

Beating two other contestants in the Grand Finale of the cookery game show MasterChef India 2010, Pankaj Bhadouria of Lucknow won the title. She received Rs. 1 crore check as prize money and also she will host one cooking show on Star Plus.

In the finale, she cooked Drunk Chicken Log, Cheesy Dill Salmon and Cranberry Cheese Blossom which won the price.

On 25 December 2010, the Grand Finale took place between three finalists. They were Chef Pankaj Bhadouria, Chef Jayanandan Bhaskar and Chef Radhicka Agarwaal.

It was graced by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan and actress Katrina Kaif who attended at the finale to promote their upcoming film, “Tees Maar Khan”. They were also judge of this show.

Pankaj Bhadouria was declared the winner voting by Akshay Kumar and his co-judges, Ajay Chopra and Kunal Kapoor, in the finale aired Saturday.

The 24-year-old Jayanandan Bhaskar got 2nd position. He has got the job of Chef at The Leela Kempinski hotel Gurgaon.

Bhadouria gave up her teaching job to be part of the show.

MasterChef India started in October 2010. It created an opportunity to acknowledge and encourage the skills of passionate cooks and groom them to become professionals.
