Toyota Kirloskar Experienced 77% Increase in April Sales in India

Toyota Kirloskar Motor, a joint venture between Toyota and Kirloskar Group, revealed a whopping 77% increase in its April sale. The astounding growth proves that the brand is attracting the car enthusiasts. The company sold 6,001 units in April, a huge jump from 3,386 sold at the same period last year.

Economic Times reported:

"We are happy to announce our quantum increase in sales for the month of April 2010, which goes on to prove our customers faith in Toyota brand," TKM Deputy Managing Director (Marketing) Sandeep Singh said.

No doubt, Toyota Kirloskar has done very well in April and it seems that the company could raise its yearly target volume now. It has its production plant in Bangalore and another one is now under construction at the same place. Toyota Kirloskar is planning to come up with a small car by 2011 in order to grab some market share of this growing segment.
