2011 Ford Fiesta Rated at 29 MPG City and 40 MPG Highway in EPA Test

EPA test result of 2011 Ford Fiesta shows that the subcompact car achieves 29 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway. As far as the highway mpg is concerned, 2011 Ford Fiesta seems to have an edge over its Japanese competitors Honda Fit and Toyota Yaris.

Though Fiesta performed little less with five-speed manual at 28/37 mpg, its overall highway performance in the EPA test has been very impressive.

However, it would be interesting to see if Ford Fiesta 2011 can stands against Chevrolet Cruze which seems to provide better mpg. In fact, its Eco version would reportedly achieve 40 mpg on the highway, even though it is bigger than Ford Fiesta. Cruze is in compact division, while Fiesta is a subcompact car.
