Former DHL CEO Scott Price is the New Head of Walmart Asia

Walmart, in its attempt to strengthen its Asian business, has appointed Scott Price as the president and CEO of Walmart in Asia. Scott Price has huge experience of Asian business as he formerly occupied managerial positions of Coca-Cola in Japan and China. In 2002, he joined DHL and saw extensive success with the new company too. In fact, Price was the CEO of DHL Express in Asia-Pacific region and served as the company president in Japan, before being appointed as CEO of DHL Express in Europe in 2007 and until his move to Walmart, Scott Price held that position with sheer success.

About his joining to Walmart, Scott Price is delighted to join Walmart which, he believes, is a company making positive changes in world economy. Walmart president and CEO, C. Douglas McMillon, is also very happy to have Price in Walmart as he thinks Price would be able to bring huge experience and expertise to this position thanks to his previous working experience in Asia.
