A bad time ahead for Toyota as low production goal?

When economic recession has started, it appeared that American auto giants will fall into a lot of problem and for the first few months, it seemed that Japanese car maker Toyota will remain safe. Yes, it is still safe and it has not suffered any big problem until now but things are not going well at all because of the falling car demand. In fact, we have seen in the last few days that huge decrease has taken place in car sells in Japan, USA and Europe. As a result, companies like Toyota suffering because they can not sell their products as fast as they want to. So, Toyota has fixed a low annual production goal in 2009. In fact, in 2009 its plan is to make 6.68 million cars. Last year, the production goal was 9.24 million. So in 2009, the company is expected to suffer even more loss.
