Sharp Electronics Corporation (TYO:6753), one of the top Japanese electronic companies has chose Gold Client software to manage its database. Gold Client is a ‘premier refresh and replication’ data management software that can be used in ‘SAP® solution-based environments.’ Business Wire reports:
Gold Client, developed by Hayes Technology Group, eliminates the need to copy the entire production database to non-productive environments by allowing users of SAP solutions to dynamically export user-defined subsets of SAP data from any source within the environment. Extensions of Gold Client then enable these teams to import the data subsets back to the environment for development, testing and training.
One of the major advantages of Gold Client is that it heavily reduces the time and effort necessary to replicate data from two weeks to just few hours. This allows the companies to keep their projects on schedule.
