The 2008 base GS model is equipped with a 2.0L, 16-valve, DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine with Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) generating 138 horsepower and 136 pound-feet of torque at 4,500 rpm – and comes standard with a 5-speed manual transmission. The GS with Sport Package, GT and GTP offer a 4- speed Transmission with SHIFTRONIC ™ giving the driver more manual control.

The GT and GTP trims pack a more powerful punch, moving up to a 172-hp 2.7-liter V6 engine, and several performance features, such as European sport tuned suspension with firmer spring rates and larger 17-inch alloy wheels for better grip and control. Other amenities include remote keyless entry, cruise control, power sun roof and a dramatic rear spoiler.
